About me
As the CTE Coordinator for Crowley's Ridge ESC, it is my pleasure to serve 16 school districts in NE AR. My expertise is in grant writing, program implementation, professional development, teacher certification, teacher recruitment and retention, equalizing educational opportunities, writing policy, and mentor endorsement. I am passionate about bridging the gap for our students from graduation to industry and believe that what we are teaching in CTE IS some of the most important skills our students can learn! While my duties are extensive in my current position, they do not keep me from fulfilling additional opportunities I am passionate about. I serve as the Educators Rising Region 3 Coordinator, which is a career and technical student organization for those who are in the pathway to become future educators. I have also served in many positions within the Arkansas Association for Career and Technical Education (Arkansas ACTE), serving the past 3 years as the President-Elect, President, and Past-President and now in my current role as the Arkansas ACTE Leads Director. In addition, I also served on national ACTE as a New Fellow, a leadership opportunity that allowed young professionals the knowledge to learn policy and how to advocate for CTE at our nation's capitol, Washington, D.C. Currently, I serve as a mentor on the national ACTE committee called IAED: Inclusion, Access, Equity, and Diversity.
